FAQs

  • What sets us apart is an extensive pre-visit questionnaire followed by an hour-long initial visit. We invest in time and connection with each of our patients. While there are other direct-care practices in the region, we stand out as both allopathic and integrative family physicians. We offer a truly comprehensive approach. Treatment plans generally combine lifestyle/diet with supplements, IV therapies, and medications when indicated. We work outside of the insurance umbrella as a cash-based practice. Many of our patients still use their insurance for standard testing, radiographic studies, physical therapy and medications.

  • Our approach includes a comprehensive history and physical exam, followed by a “deep dive” into functional lab testing. We’ll learn about hormone levels, vitamins/nutrients, food sensitivities, the detox system, gut health/balance, and cellular/mitochondrial health. How you feel matters, and a key step in our decision-making is interpretation of lab results in the context of your current functional state.

  • Yes, we explore hormone labs and symptoms. This is a fundamental aspect of health. We are aware of the controversy around hormone health and have an established toolkit for evaluation and bioidentical treatments. We are BioTE certified. For younger women where BioTE isn’t appropriate we offer other options for hormone balancing.

  • We’ve had great success helping people get back to life. Even before the pandemic we were geared toward treatment of acute and chronic infections. Our long-standing toolkit has included oxidative IV therapies: mainly ozone, but also high dose vitamin C, hydrogen peroxide and NAD.

  • Our patients with pain get our usual comprehensive approach with several targeted modalities. We have trained with internationally-respected, integrative pain management doctors. For targeted issues, we use prolozone injections (and soon, PRP) in both joints and soft tissues. With systemic attention to pain syndromes, we offer high-dose ozone infusions (MAH, 10-Pass) and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

  • Give us a call and we can set you up with an abbreviated 1st visit, with a targeted focus on a modality we offer with one of our doctors or nurses.
